BRB

Tomorrow I'm going on holiday again so I won't be blogging for a little while.  I don't know how easy it's going to be to upload pictures and connect to internet etc abroad so I can't garantee I'll be blogging regularly if at all whilst I'm away.
I will, however, bounce back as soon as I return so if I don't end up posting anything for the next few weeks, expect lots of posts when I get back!

ps I did mean to attach a picture to this, but Blogger just wasn't having it. Sorry it's so bland! x

Boyish.

Shirt: Zara
Jumper: Topshop
Leather Jacket: Ben Sherman
Trousers & Bag: H&M
Shoes: Salvatore Ferragamo

I'm actually really taking to shirts and jeans/trousers combinations. It looks effortless, casual but polished all at the same time - it's actually reminded me why I love designers like Paul Smith (she says, not wearing Paul Smith). I'm not one to freeze in the cold just to show off my legs so I'm glad to have found the balance between style and comfort.

I think so far, since I've been back from Italy, we've had one good day of 'sun' (and it wasn't even warm). Luckily for me, my family and I are escaping to Mexico on Wednesday, where there will be plenty of time for me to soak up some sun. Before I start packing up my shorts and vests I thought I'd make the most of the weather to experiment with layering - something I won't be able to do in the dry heat of Mexico. I'm sure when I post outfit photos from my holiday you're not going to feel very inspired! A pattern will definitely occur (shorts, vest, shorts, vest, dress, shorts, vest). I figured it only made sense to wear something weather-appropriate today.

So I layered a jumper on top of a shirt. Revolutionary.

Washed Out

Blouse: Zara
Trousers: H&M
Watch: Omega

Sorry I've had no time to post this week!  I've been working pretty much every day so I've not had anything to post about.  Sorry about the blurry picture, still learning how to focus the lens on the right thing whilst using self-timing...
It was my day off on Monday so I decided to exchange this dress from Zara for this shirt.  I was pretty happy with it, until I got home and discovered it's ever-so-slightly faulty.  Maybe I'm just being picky, but one of the cuffs isn't stitched on properly, so there's a gap in the cuff that could get caught onto anything and rip it off completely.... So I'm taking precautions and I've decided I'm going to swap it for the same model, just not a faulty one.
I also bought these trousers in the H&M sale and I'm absolutely in love with them!  They cost me next to nothing but they don't look cheap.  They have this 'silky' look to them, and zips at the bottom - I can't even tell you how much I love them...

Also, I hope you guys are liking my new layout.  It took me a day or 2 to sort out but I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out.  I would love to know your thoughts on it, leave me a comment and let me know! :)

Scenic

Just a few pictures to sum up my time in Italy.  Everything I saw just made me think of the D&G S/S '12 campaign; beautiful!  I'll be back to blogging normally soon, sorry for my recent lack of posts - it was difficult trying to connect to the internet in Italy and I've been quite busy since I got back!  Hope you're all having a great summer so far.
